Chris Walla of Death Cab for Cutie fame recently released a solo album titled, Field Manual. To those not familiar with Christopher, he is the guitarist, as well as the producer of Death Cab for Cutie. In addition to the Death Cab recordings he also produced The Decemberists Picaresque and Crane's Wife, Tegan and Sara's The Con, as well as many others. If you are scratching your head and asking if its worth checking out, imagine how awesome a Death Cab albums sounds and the song "New Candles," plus any other song with sweet back up vocals and thats a should give you a clue to how the album sounds.
